Located minutes from downtown but outside the town centre, guests can avoid navigating Banff traffic and searching for parking, instead enjoying straightforward highway access, ample parking space, and a peaceful setting immersed in nature.

How do I book an event?

To book an event simply get in touch via our Request Proposal form. Our events team will reach out to discuss your vision, availability, and requirements before preparing a personalised proposal.

Is the Juniper a wedding venue?

The Juniper Hotel & Bistro does not currently host full weddings. However we can offer Elopement Ceremonies, Dinner Receptions, and Honeymoon Stays.

Can I customise the menu?

Absolutely. We offer a selection of event menus that can be tailored to your preferences, dietary requirements, and budget. Our team will work with you to create the perfect dining experience.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. We can accommodate most dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and common food allergies. Please let us know your requirements in advance.

Can I bring my own decorations or entertainment?

You’re welcome to personalise your event with decorations and approved entertainment. Some restrictions may apply to protect the venue, so we’ll discuss any plans with you during the booking process.

There were 19 of us that booked for a team retreat at The Juniper and it was fantastic. The team took care of us from start to finish. Our rooms were cozy and the view of the Bow Valley was stunning. We loved making s'mores by the campfire. Breakfast was sensational and chef Sergio checked in with each guest to see how we enjoyed it. I can see why this breakfast is voted best in Banff year after year. The Vermillion meeting room was the perfect size for our group. I highly recommend the Juniper if you have a small group like ours and want an intimate setting where you will be cared for like family.

Juniper was an amazing spot to book for our wedding weekend. I booked several rooms for myself and my spouse and I's family. The rooms were all clean, comfortable and the service was amazing. While there is no elevator, the staff was extremely helpful with all our of items – especially since we had a lot and we were in the penthouse suite. The hotel had iced tea in the front lobby that everyone I know couldn't get enough of. While I did not partake in the activities, my family was able to utilize some of the facilities such as e-bikes and went for nature walks as noted by the hotel. It was a great location as we got married at Norquay, and we were even able to have our first look just outside the hotel as the views were amazing. The bistro attached the hotel did a great job of supplying a brunch to our room (it was HUGE!! and so many compliments on the cheese coated breakfast burritos) as well as did an amazing job hosting our rehearsal dinner with amazing food and sangria. Would recommend anyone who wants to be in a great location with great service to book here!

Amazing conference experience. Attended a three-day conference at the Juniper just last week – they were amazing hosts! The owner welcomed us and shared about the land. He even offered bird watching experience in the morning. The staff were very attentive, kind, and considerate. They’d approach folks with dietary restrictions to ensure they have their options. Food was delicious! The bistro alone is worth visiting. Also has the best view of the mountains in Banff.

The perfect place for a retreat. I held a 5 night retreat at the Juniper in June and it was perfect for the event. The views were spectacular & the perfect location for peace & quiet as just outside of the busy town. Food was great as was the service. All of our groups needs were met every day, from providing tea/coffee & yummy cookies & muffins. All of the rooms have great character & attention to detail. The hotel is independent which sets it apart from most of the hotels in downtown Banff, as well as it's secluded location. We will be back again.

Excellent for groups & business retreats. Staying at the Juniper Hotel is always a treat. This time, it was for a business meeting. The staff are professional and friendly. The accommodations are comfy. The food and drink was a highlight, along the stunning views. Our event was held in the Vermilion Room off the dining room which had wall to wall windows with mountain views. This made it so much better than any boardroom meeting.
