Juniper Hotel & Bistro

Group & Family Stays

Scroll

Set overlooking the valley, the Juniper Hotel & Bistro stands on ground that has forever drawn people to this region. Long before it became a hotel, this was a place of gathering – where the Ktunaxa, Secwepemc, Métis, Tsuu’tina, Mountain Cree, Blackfoot, and Stoney Nakoda peoples returned seasonally, sharing knowledge, food, and medicine over thousands of years.

Whether you’re travelling with extended family, planning a reunion with friends, or gathering to celebrate a special occasion, the Juniper offers the space and setting to bring everyone together.

Arriving and settling in are refreshingly easy with plenty of parking just steps from your room, and no navigating busy streets or hauling luggage through town. Simply unpack, breathe in the mountain air, and head out on your next adventure. Spacious suites and cabins provide room to relax, while our peaceful location just outside downtown Banff keeps the park’s iconic experiences within easy reach.

Some of the best memories are made between the big moments. Share stories over dinner at the Juniper Bistro, soak in the mountain-view hot tub, borrow e-bikes to explore the valley, or gather around the outdoor firepits as the sun sets behind Sulphur Mountain.

From multi-generational holidays to weekends away with friends, the Juniper provides a welcoming base for spending meaningful time together while discovering the very best of Banff National Park.

Land Acknowledgement

We welcome you to Banff and the Bow Valley. This has long been a place where early peoples came in peace. There is deep and enduring memory of this valley held by Ktunaxa, Secwepemc, Métis, Tsuu’tina, Mountain Cree, Blackfoot, and Stoney Nakoda peoples. We acknowledge both the Treaty of 1877, Treaty Seven, and the Treaty of 1895 between the salmon and buffalo peoples. We are grateful to live here and live together with all our relations.
