Heading out on the trails? We have some complimentary items available at the Front Desk to help you have an even better adventure. 

Borrow a lightweight backpack, pre-stocked with handy essentials including hand sanitizer, SPF and, of course, bear spray! Our packs are the perfect size to carry water, snacks and extra clothing for day hikes. 

Bear spray can also be borrowed separately. If it’s your first time carrying bear spray, our team will be happy to brief you on how to use it, and the simple rules for travelling safely in bear country. If you’re looking for some hiking inspiration, we can recommend our favourite trails for all fitness levels. Current trail conditions are available from Parks Canada.

For a little extra support on your walk, we also have adjustable hiking poles available. Using poles can give you extra stability, especially on steeper trails. If your knees tend to hurt on the downhill sections, give some poles a try!  

All equipment is complimentary for hotel guests and lent on a first come, first served basis. Packs and poles must be returned the same day and cannot be reserved in advance.
