Valentine’s Day at Juniper Bistro

Where better to celebrate love than beautiful Banff, with romantic vistas everywhere you look. The Juniper Bistro was proud to be voted Most Romantic Place to Eat in the most recent Best of the Bow awards; we think our panoramic views and seasonally inspired cuisine might have something to do with it.

For Valentine’s Day we’ll be offering a 3-course set menu for just $49++ per person.

Chef Darcy has been kind enough to give us a sneak peek at the menu, packed with delicious, responsibly sourced ingredients. Vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options are available for each course. Please note that this menu is subject to change; we’re committed to using the freshest products that our suppliers can deliver that week.

VALENTINE’S DAY MENU 

To start:

TUNA TATAKI yellowfin tuna, sesame crust, dehydrated orange, Biotanic Gardens micro green salad, black sesame fluid gel, avocado emulsion, toasted cashew {GF, DF}

BEETS confit beet root, goat cheese, walnuts, arugula, spicy mustard {VP}

SOUP – chefs daily creation

 

Main Event:

HANGER STEAK ancho chilli, sweet potato puree, grilled asparagus, wild mushrooms {GF}

SABLEFISH sweet peas two ways, radish and fennel slaw, lemon brown butter {GF}

VEGAN CURRY pineapple, chickpea, sweet potato, cauliflower {VEGAN}

 

Treat Yourself

 

PISTACHIO TART TATIN white chocolate mousse, orange blossom gel, phyllo pastry

CHOCOLATE SUNDAE cherry infused chocolate, Fiasco lavender London fog sorbetto, molten chocolate cake {GF}

FIASCO SORBETS {VEGAN, GF}
