Changes in Effect March 1st, 2022:

As Alberta moves to Step 2 public health measures, masks are no longer required inside the Juniper Hotel or Juniper Bistro.

Guests should be aware that masks are still required on public transit, including our local ROAM services in Banff and Canmore, as well as any AHS medical facility.

As the province moves to a lower level of mandatory protections, individuals will assess their own risks and necessary precautions, which can vary depending on their circumstances. At the Juniper, we continue to support our guests and team members who may choose to wear a mask or take other precautions. Single-use masks will continue to be available at our Front Desk and Bistro upon request. Please join us in creating a welcoming environment for everyone.

Though they may be less visible, we are still taking steps to give you a safer experience. Based on our understanding of airborne transmission of respiratory viruses like COVID-19, we have ensured that our mechanical ventilation systems exchange the air in our guest rooms, conference rooms and common areas 5-7 times per hour. This is supplemented with air purifiers in high traffic areas like the Bistro. We also maintain thorough cleaning procedures and monitor the vaccination status of all employees. If there is anything else we can do to help you feel safe during your stay with us, please let us know.

We understand that times of transition can be challenging. We ask everyone to show kindness and respect towards our team and your fellow guests during your stay. Please direct any questions or feedback on our policies in writing to gm@thejuniper.com. Thank you.
