The Juniper Bistro is excited to host our second Chef Series event on Sunday March 26th and welcome one of British Columbia’s most celebrated chefs, Jeff Van Geest, from Tinhorn Creek’s Miradoro Restaurant. Jeff has collaborated a special menu with Chris Irving, our GM and culinary director, which will bring flavours and techniques from the Southern Okanagan wine region here to us in in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. Jeff and Chris share similar culinary direction, as they both focus on using locally procured foods from sustainable producer partners. As the recent winner of Banff’s Top Chef , Chris is excited to showcase the skills that earned him the winning dish in the recent competition during Banff’s Big Taste.
The evening will commence with a welcome reception at 6:30pm in the Juniper Bistro lounge. We will then invite everyone to sit at our communal long tables, where snacks and nibbles will await, with hopes to inspire creative conversation and friendly discussions. Jeff and Chris have created a special 5 course menu, carefully paired with Tinhorn Creek’s incredible wine portfolio. We have been promised some very special, exciting exclusive releases from Tinhorn’s cellar!
One ticket is $125 (including tax & gratuity). This includes reception beverage and canapes, 5 course degustation menu with comprehensive wine pairings. Menu will be released closer to date!
